Missions

Our community outreach programs and youth initiatives are designed to help those in need.

We don't require that you belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support our organization in any way. We only ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness for another. In this way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.

Our mission is to spiritually uplift our community, and work toward a greater good. We work tirelessly to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. We help those seeking spiritual healing and enlightenment find the path to a higher power. Our faith-based outreach serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We support our fellow man, and serve as a guiding light.

Our membership is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we've been able to accomplish more, and have a greater impact on our community. We welcome you with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of our faith-based family.

Local Missions are headed by Kathie Noffsinger and Global Missions by Pat Gwaltney.  Please contact them with any questions, suggestions or interest you may have.

Cinderella Project
Thanks to our generous church members, the Local Missions Team for Lower Church has already delivered many needed health items, snacks and clothing for our Middlesex County public school students!  The mission, called the “Cinderella Project”, began several years ago to assist our school youth through the school nurses and their health clinics.  Below is a current list for each school and we will update the requests as needed.  If you would like to purchase and donate any of these items, the donation box is in the hallway to the fellowship hall.  If you prefer to make a monetary donation, checks may be made out to Lower UMC with “Cinderella Project” in the memo line and brought or mailed to the church office.  With your cash donations we recently purchased clothing and large boxes of healthy snack bars for the school clinics.
