Missions

Our community outreach programs are designed to help those in need.

We don't require that you belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support our organization in any way. We only ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness for another. In this way, the cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.

Our mission is to spiritually uplift our community, and work toward a greater good. We work tirelessly to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. We help those seeking spiritual healing and enlightenment find the path to a higher power. Our faith-based outreach serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We support our fellow man, and serve as a guiding light.

We welcome you with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of our faith-based family.

Local Missions are headed by Margaret Montgomery. Our Scholarship Commitee is headed by Madonna Frisch. Please contact them with any questions, suggestions or interest you may have.

Cinderella Project
    Helping Our School Nurses

Our Cinderella Project at LUMC  is a wonderful local mission meeting the needs of our students at Middlesex Elementary School, St. Clare Walker Middle School and Middlesex High School through their 3 school nurses.  Each month during the school year we receive their wish list that is published in the church newsletter.  Items may be dropped off in the Fellowship Hall donation box (now located in the coat closet next to the Fellowship Hall entrance).  Cash donations are also welcomed by writing in the memo line of your check “Cinderella Project”.  Cash donations are used to purchase items that are not donated.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Cinderella Project during the 2024-2025 school year.  The items were very much appreciated.
