Serving warmth. Sharing love.
On the fourth Wednesday of each month, Loaves & Ladles will meet at 3:30 p.m. to prepare homemade soup and fresh bread for homebound neighbors and others in our community who could use a little extra care.
Each person will receive a quart of soup and a loaf of bread, delivered the following Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m.This ministry is for everyone in our community—not only members of Lower Church.
If you would like to help prepare soup, bake bread, package meals, or make deliveries, please add your name to the sign-up sheet at the church or contact the church office. We also welcome the names of neighbors who might be blessed by a warm meal and a reminder that they are loved.
Extra soup will be kept in the church freezer and may be picked up at any time to share with someone who could use a little warmth and care.
